Listening to Sentinel was like being strapped into a mech and dropped into a frozen warzone. R.C. Bray's narration is a powerhouse, bringing each character to life with distinct voices and a sense of urgency that had me on the edge of my seat. The pacing is relentless, with one heart-pounding action sequence after another, punctuated by moments of camaraderie and tension-building dialogue. The story is a thrilling blend of military sci-fi and survival horror, with a unique setting that feels fresh and unpredictable. My only critique is that some of the tech jargon can feel a bit info-dumpy at times, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise exhilarating listen. If you're a fan of action-packed sci-fi with a healthy dose of horror, Sentinel is a must-listen.
