As a fan of coming-of-age stories, I found Seventeen to be a refreshing and honest take on the genre. Gibson's writing is gritty and authentic, capturing the essence of teenage life with a raw, unapologetic honesty that's both compelling and uncomfortable at times. Thompson's narration is spot-on, capturing the voice of a teenager with a perfect balance of angst, confusion, and growing self-awareness.
