Severed by Magic

I devoured Severed by Magic in one sitting, drawn in by the complex characters and the dark, twisted world Lexie Scott has created. Virtual Voice's narration is engaging, and their ability to convey the protagonist's vulnerability and determination is impressive. The story's pacing is well-handled, with a good balance of action and emotional introspection. One area where the audiobook falters is in its handling of some of the supporting characters, who feel somewhat underdeveloped. Additionally, the ending feels a bit rushed, with some plot threads resolved a bit too conveniently. Despite these minor quibbles, I found Severed by Magic to be a compelling and engaging listen, with a unique blend of paranormal elements and romance.
