Shadow Angel: Book Two

As a fan of the first book, I was eager to dive back into Emma's world, and 'Shadow Angel: Book Two' did not disappoint. Vanessa Moyen's narration is exceptional, capturing the essence of Emma's character and her descent into despair. Her voice is perfectly suited to the story's dark, suspenseful tone, and she expertly conveys the emotional rollercoaster Emma experiences. The pacing is excellent, balancing moments of intense action with slower, more introspective scenes. However, I found the lack of concrete answers about Gage's fate frustrating at times, leaving me craving more closure. Despite this, the audiobook is a compelling listen, filled with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end.
