Silent Partner

As a fan of the Alex Delaware series, I was excited to dive into Silent Partner, and I was not disappointed. Alexander Adams' narration is top-notch, bringing a level of sophistication to the story that's hard to match. His performance of Dr. Delaware's character, in particular, feels authentic and nuanced, capturing the psychologist's dry wit and introspective nature. The story itself is a masterclass in building tension and suspense, with Kellerman expertly manipulating the narrative to keep you guessing. One of the standout elements is the way the author explores the complexities of human relationships, revealing the darker aspects of human nature. However, some listeners may find the pace a bit too measured at times, which can make the story feel a tad too long. Additionally, some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, which can make it difficult to fully invest in their stories. Still, these minor criticisms don't detract from the overall impact of the audiobook, which is a gripping and engaging mystery that will keep you hooked until the very end.
