Silver Biker

I went into Silver Biker expecting another tired rich-boy-meets-rebellious-girl trope, but Dunbar flipped the script so hard, I nearly crashed my own car (thankfully, I wasn’t driving). Aaron Shedlock’s narration is the audiobook equivalent of a cold beer on a sweltering day—smooth where it needs to be, rough around the edges just like the story’s hero, and with a wit that lands every punchline. His cadence for the younger, more reckless characters was spot-on, but it was Emma Wilder who stole the show with her portrayal of the heroine. She nails the balance between fierce independence and the vulnerability that makes you root for her. The pacing is relentless; Dunbar drops you into the action like you’ve just roared in on a Harley, and the chemistry between the leads is so palpable, I found myself grinning like an idiot during the audiobook’s most charged scenes. That said, the second-act subplot with the Harrington family’s corporate empire felt a tad rushed, and the epilogue’s emotional payoff landed with a thud for me—more saccharine than satisfying. Still, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise stellar listen. If you’re here for sharp dialogue, swoony tension, and a love story that burns brighter than a lit cigarette at a biker bar, buckle up. You won’t regret the ride.
