Sinking in the Shadows

As someone who's listened to their fair share of romance audiobooks, I was intrigued by the promise of Sinking in the Shadows' unique take on the genre. CJ Bloom's narration is a significant part of the audiobook's charm, bringing a level of emotional intensity that's hard to ignore. However, some listeners may find the pacing a tad uneven, particularly in the latter half of the story. That being said, the payoff is well worth the investment of time and energy. While I appreciated the twist ending, I couldn't help but feel that the supporting cast was occasionally underutilized – a small quibble, but one that kept me engaged and invested in the protagonist's journey.
