I was hooked from the very first chapter. Amanda Leigh Cobb's narration is nothing short of exceptional. She masterfully differentiates characters, bringing each one to life with unique voices and inflections. The pacing is perfect, balancing intense action sequences with slower, more intimate moments. Broadbent's world-building is commendable, and her characters are complex and engaging. My only critique is that some of the secondary characters could have been more fully developed.
