Six Sweets Under

As an editor, I adored immersing myself in the world of Six Sweets Under, where the rich flavors of chocolate and the sinister undertones of small-town secrets blend together in perfect harmony. Jesse Vilinsky's narration is a key part of this audiobook's charm, bringing Becca Ransom to life with a warm and relatable presence that makes it easy to become invested in her amateur sleuthing endeavors. One of the standouts of this production is the way the sound effects and music are used to enhance the overall atmosphere – from the tantalizing aromas of the chocolate festival to the eerie tension of the investigation, the audio design is top-notch. If I have one quibble, it's that the pacing can feel a bit rushed at times, particularly in the latter half of the book. However, this minor complaint is more than made up for by the engaging story and Vilinsky's effortless narration.
