As someone who has a keen interest in military history and the stories of those who serve, I found 'Soldier 'I'' to be a captivating and emotionally resonant listen. Paul Thornley's narration is nothing short of exceptional, bringing the characters to life with a perfect blend of authenticity and nuance. The audiobook masterfully interweaves the gripping accounts of military operations with the personal experiences of the soldiers, offering listeners a unique and immersive perspective on the special forces world. However, I did find that the pacing could have benefited from a slight adjustment in certain sections to maintain a more consistent flow throughout the audiobook. Nevertheless, this minor issue did not detract from the overall enjoyment and impact of the story.
