Steve Jobs: The Man Behind the Bitten Apple

I was thoroughly impressed by Kevin Kollins' narration, which brought a sense of calm authority to the story of Steve Jobs' life. The way he handled the more intense moments was particularly noteworthy, conveying the passion and conviction that defined Jobs without ever feeling overly dramatic. One area where the audiobook occasionally falters is in its transitions between different periods of Jobs' life; at times, the narrative feels a bit disjointed. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent production. The pacing is well-balanced, and the focus on Jobs' thought processes is a real strength. My only other criticism is that some listeners might find the lack of personal anecdotes about Jobs' family life a bit disappointing. Overall, though, this is a great listen for anyone looking to understand the mind behind Apple's innovations.
