Traci Odom's narration is the star of the show here. Her voice perfectly captures the tough, no-nonsense spirit of Kylie Rhoads, our intrepid heroine. Odom's pacing is spot on, ratcheting up tension during action sequences and slowing down to let the story's political machinations sink in. The production quality is top-notch, with sound effects and music that immerse you in the grimy, neon-lit streets of the story's various settings. However, some of the tech jargon can feel a bit info-dumpy at times, and a few secondary characters could use more development. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise thrilling audiobook experience.
