Sunset of the Gods is a thrilling sequel that picks up where 'Blood of the Heroes' left off, with Jason Thanou once again navigating the treacherous waters of time travel. This time, he's not just battling mythological monsters, but confronting the chilling reality that the gods of ancient Greece might not be human at all. Andrew Eiden's narration is nothing short of captivating, bringing the ancient world to life with a voice that's as engaging as it is commanding. What sets this audiobook apart is its unique blend of historical intrigue, sci-fi action, and thought-provoking philosophy, all wrapped up in a gripping narrative that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

As a fan of both time travel and ancient mythology, I was thrilled to dive back into Jason Thanou's world. Andrew Eiden's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. His ability to switch between modern and ancient voices is seamless, and his pacing is spot on, perfectly capturing the tension and excitement of Jason's adventures. The story itself is a thrilling ride, with White's unique take on the Greek gods adding a fresh twist to the time travel genre. However, I did find some of the philosophical discussions to be a bit heavy-handed at times, which occasionally slowed down the otherwise breakneck pace of the story. Overall, though, 'Sunset of the Gods' is a must-listen for anyone who enjoys a good time travel tale with a historical twist.
