As a lifelong baseball fan, I approached 'The Baseball 100' with high expectations, and I'm delighted to say it exceeded them. Cary Hite's narration is a joy to listen to. He effortlessly switches between characters, capturing the essence of each player with his voice alone. The pacing is excellent, never feeling rushed or slow, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in each story. Posnanski's writing is engaging and informative, making complex statistical analysis accessible and even exciting. My only critiques are minor: at times, the detailed analysis can feel a bit overwhelming, and a few of the player profiles could have benefited from a more critical lens. But these are nitpicks in an otherwise outstanding audiobook experience.
