I started *The Bunny Blues* expecting a lighthearted romp, but Ashe’s writing hooked me with its mix of satire and sincerity. The premise—heroine catfished into a rabbit shifter harem—could’ve gone sideways fast, but Ashe leans into the absurdity without losing heart. The emotional beats land harder than they have any right to, especially in the second act when the fluffle’s dysfunction starts feeling like family. My only critique? The pacing drags slightly in the middle when the story pivots from “fish-out-of-water” to “political intrigue,” but it’s a small price for the payoff. Narration-wise, Moyen and Duran are a dream team. Moyen’s delivery is like a stand-up comedian’s timing, hitting every sarcastic aside with precision, while Duran’s voice keeps things from spiraling into farce. They sell the romance, too—when the heroine finally connects with her “bonded” mates, the moment feels earned, not forced. My one nitpick is that Duran’s softer vocal range sometimes gets lost in the more bombastic scenes, but it’s rarely noticeable. Production is top-tier, with subtle audio cues that enhance the immersion without overpowering the story. Overall, it’s a rom-com with teeth—just make sure you’re okay with the rabbits getting naked.
