As I embarked on the audiobook journey of The Chosen's War Command by Shadowsfinger, narrated by the talented Kevin T. Collins, I found myself immersed in a world that was both captivating and enigmatic. Collins' narration style brought to life the various races and their struggles, making it easy for me to connect with the characters and the intricate plot. The pacing of the audiobook was well-managed, allowing me to fully appreciate the development of the story and the twists that awaited me along the way. However, I did find that the introduction of new concepts and characters could occasionally feel disjointed, making it slightly challenging to keep track of the various factions and their motivations. Despite this, the audiobook's unique exploration of a world locked in eternal struggle proved to be a refreshing take on the fantasy genre, and I found myself eagerly anticipating the resolution of the conflicts that unfolded throughout the 12-hour 32-minute experience.
