Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

As someone who devoured the first book in the series, I was eager to dive back into the world of the Grimm brothers and their dark, twisted fairytale. And I was not disappointed. Sarah Ovens' narration is a highlight of the audiobook, bringing a level of emotional depth and nuance to the characters that is truly exceptional. She captures the complexity of Clara's inner turmoil and the intensity of Axel's struggles, making it easy to become invested in their journey. The pacing of the story is well-balanced, with a perfect mix of action, suspense, and quieter moments that allow the characters to breathe. My only critique is that the supporting cast feels a bit one-dimensional at times, which takes away from the overall impact of the story. Still, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise exceptional audiobook.
