The Dragon Mage Series, Books 10-12

As an avid fantasy listener, I was excited to dive into the final three books of the Dragon Mage series, and I wasn't disappointed. From the very beginning, Gary Bennett's narration drew me in with his impeccable timing and inflection, creating an immersive experience that felt as if I was right there in the heart of the action. I was particularly impressed with how he portrayed the intense battles and the intricate political machinations that underpinned the story. One aspect that stood out to me was the author's ability to balance action-packed scenes with moments of emotional depth, which was expertly conveyed through Bennett's nuanced performance. However, I did find that the pacing in the final book was a bit uneven, with some sections feeling rushed in comparison to the richly detailed world-building that came before. Overall, though, this series is a must-listen for fans of epic fantasy and sword & sorcery adventures.
