Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

As an audiobook editor, I've had the pleasure of listening to The Ferrymen, and I can confidently say it's one of the most engaging and immersive sci-fi experiences I've had in a long time. Stacey Glemboski's narration is top-notch, conveying the emotional intensity of the story with ease. She brings Glade Io to life in a way that's both relatable and endearing, making it easy to become invested in her journey. One of the things that sets The Ferrymen apart is its unique take on the dystopian genre. Finn's world-building is meticulous, creating a sense of realism that draws listeners in and refuses to let go. The story's pacing is expertly handled, with a narrative that unfolds at a breakneck speed that's both thrilling and exhausting. If I have any criticisms, it's that some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional at times, and the Authority's motivations could be fleshed out a bit more. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise exceptional audiobook. Overall, I'd highly recommend The Ferrymen to fans of sci-fi and dystopian fiction.
