The Good Guy Challenge

I was hooked from the first chapter, thanks in large part to the dynamic narration duo of Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter. Clarke's voice is like velvet-covered gravel, giving the reformed bad boy, Max, an edge that's impossible to resist. Hunter's narration brings a warmth and vulnerability to the heroine, Ava, making her instantly relatable. The banter between Max and Ava is sharp and witty, with Blakely's signature humor shining through in every exchange. The story moves at a steady pace, with just the right amount of tension and release to keep me on the edge of my seat. My only critique is that I wish there had been a bit more exploration of the emotional stakes, but overall, The Good Guy Challenge is a fun, engaging listen that had me laughing out loud and rooting for the happy ending.
