I found myself fully engrossed in The Hunt's gritty urban fantasy world from the first chapter. Angel Clark's narration is captivating, with her ability to convey the protagonist's fear and determination making me feel like I was right there with her in the Wilds. The story's combination of paranormal and fantasy elements creates a unique listening experience, and I was impressed by the author's ability to maintain suspense throughout. However, I did feel that the pacing occasionally lagged, and some of the secondary characters lacked depth.
