Brittany Goodwin's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. She brings Ashley and Blake to life with remarkable nuance, capturing the fear, defiance, and determination in Ashley's voice, and the grit, exhaustion, and quiet strength in Blake's. The pacing is spot on, building tension like a slow burn before exploding into action. The production is clean and unobtrusive, allowing the story and performances to shine. If I have one critique, it's that the supporting characters could have used a bit more distinction in their narration. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audio experience.
