The Last Adventure of the Scarlet Pimpernel

As a fan of both Austen and the Scarlet Pimpernel, I was delighted to find that 'The Last Adventure' masterfully combines the best of both worlds. Jo Ashe's narration is a joy to listen to, bringing each character to life with a distinct voice and nuance. Her ability to capture the wit and sarcasm of Austen's dialogue is particularly impressive, as is her skill in conveying the tension and excitement of the Pimpernel's daring rescues. The pacing is excellent, balancing the slower, character-driven moments of Austen's world with the fast-paced action of the Pimpernel's adventures. My only minor critique is that the transitions between the two worlds could be a touch smoother at times, but this is a small price to pay for such a unique and entertaining listening experience.
