AudioBook Atlas

I devoured 'The Last' in a single listening, thanks to its engaging narrative and outstanding narration. Alexander Cendese and Virginia Rose are a dream team, with Cendese's deadpan delivery of Ben's dry humor contrasting perfectly with Rose's expressive portrayal of Sarah's emotional journey. Fenske's writing is sharp and witty, but it's her ability to weave heartfelt moments into the humor that truly sets this rom-com apart. My only critique is that I wish there were more scenes with Sarah's delightful clients from her job working with adults with Down Syndrome. However, that's a small quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook that left me with a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart.
