The Last Mandarin

As someone who enjoys a good mystery, I was drawn to The Last Mandarin for its intriguing premise of a mother and daughter caught in a web of political intrigue. Eunice Wong's narration is superb, with her ability to convey the characters' emotions and the tense atmosphere throughout the story. The pacing is well-done, keeping listeners on the edge of their seats until the very end. However, I found the ending to be a bit predictable, which took away from the overall impact of the story. Despite this critique, The Last Mandarin is still a worthwhile listen for fans of mystery and thriller genres.
