Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

While I did find the pacing to be a bit uneven at times, particularly in the second half of the book, the story's momentum is always compelling. Ferguson navigates these transitions skillfully, keeping the listener engaged despite any minor dips in tension. My only other critique would be that some of the supporting characters feel somewhat one-dimensional – the Black Banner's loyal crewmates, for example, are more of a collective presence than fully fleshed-out individuals. However, Citrine and the Black Banner themselves are so well-developed and complex that it's easy to overlook these minor flaws.
