As I listened to The Moon Without Stars, I found myself longing for a more engaging and dynamic narrative. While the narration by Sunny Lu and Chanel Miller is commendable, their performances are hindered by the uninspiring content. The story's pacing is slow, and the character development falls short of expectations. Despite the relatable themes of growing up and finding one's place in the world, the audiobook's lack of emotional resonance left me disappointed. I found myself skimming through the less engaging parts, hoping for a more captivating experience.
