I devoured 'The Other Daughter' in a single, long listen, drawn in by the intricate family dynamics and the slow-burning sense of dread that permeates the narrative. Brittany Pressley's narration is superb, conveying Melanie's fear and determination with conviction. One of the standout aspects of this audiobook is its thoughtful pacing, which ratchets up the tension to a fever pitch. My only minor quibbles are that some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, and a couple of plot twists feel slightly predictable. Still, these are minor complaints in an otherwise gripping thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end.
