Listening to The Perfect Therapist was like being in a therapy session with a psychopath. Virtual Voice's narration is exceptional, capturing the eerie calm of a killer who's one step ahead. The story is a gripping cat-and-mouse game, with a protagonist who's both intelligent and vulnerable. The pacing is excellent, building tension with each chapter. However, some of the red herrings felt a bit too convenient, and I wish the ending had been a bit more unexpected. Overall, this is a thrilling listen that will keep you up at night, wondering who's on the other side of the couch.
