As someone who enjoys a good sci-fi adventure, I found The Poison Pen to be a thrilling and unique listen. The performances by Tucker Dally Johnston and Kitty Perrelli were outstanding, with each narrator perfectly capturing the essence of their respective characters. Johnston's portrayal of Brian Partridge, the time-traveling protagonist, was especially captivating, while Perrelli's FBI agent showcased a perfect balance of determination and vulnerability. The pacing of the audiobook was well-crafted, keeping me engaged throughout the 11-hour journey. However, I did feel that the climax could have been more intense to truly elevate the experience. Nonetheless, The Poison Pen is a worthwhile listen for those seeking a fast-paced and imaginative science fiction adventure.
