Runnette's narration is impeccable, with an even tone and clear diction that keeps the listener engaged without overwhelming them. Mills' work, first published in 1956, remains a piercing examination of power structures in the United States, and Runnette's delivery masterfully highlights the text's relevance to contemporary issues.
