George Guidall's narration brings Jessie Bollier's traumatic journey to life with a straightforward, unsparing style that perfectly captures the raw emotion and brutal reality of the story. Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

I was deeply moved by 'The Slave Dancer', and George Guidall's narration was a big part of that. His calm, matter-of-fact delivery allowed me to focus on Jessie's story without distraction. The pacing was well-balanced, with a good mix of action, dialogue, and reflection. If I have any criticisms, it's that some of the supporting characters felt a bit one-dimensional, and I would have liked a bit more background on Jessie's life before his kidnapping. Still, this is a powerful and important story that sheds light on a dark period in history. Guidall's narration and the production team's work bring it to life in a way that feels both authentic and impactful.
