The Snow Fell Three Graves Deep

I was thoroughly enthralled by The Snow Fell Three Graves Deep. The narration is superb, with the ensemble cast bringing a level of depth and nuance to the characters that's remarkable. Wolf's verse is evocative and unflinching, painting a vivid picture of the Donner Party's struggles. The pacing is well-balanced, hurtling towards a devastating climax that's both heartbreaking and thought-provoking. My only quibble is that the sheer number of characters can be overwhelming at times, and some of the less prominent figures feel a bit one-dimensional. Additionally, a few of the poetic flourishes, while beautiful, occasionally slow the narrative pace. Nevertheless, this is a powerful and haunting audiobook that's sure to resonate with listeners.
