The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Other Tales of Terror

Michael Kitchen's narration is the perfect complement to Stevenson's stories. His calm, measured tone belies the dark, unsettling nature of these tales, creating a dissonance that amplifies the horror. The pacing is spot-on, with Kitchen expertly building tension and releasing it at just the right moments. The production is minimalistic, letting the stories and Kitchen's performance take center stage. My only critique is that Kitchen's voice can sometimes blend into the background, making it easy to lose track of the story if you're not fully focused. But that's a small price to pay for such a chillingly effective audiobook.
