That said, the story’s brevity is also its biggest weakness. By the third listen, the lack of stakes or character development starts to feel like a broken record, and the tickle trope, while fun the first time, loses its sparkle when there’s no narrative payoff beyond “hahaha, tickle monster wins again.” Super’s energy keeps the audio afloat, but Lightning’s text would benefit from a dash of plot or surprise to prevent the giggle-fest from curdling into monotony.
