Listening to 'The Trees' is like being on a rollercoaster ride through the Mississippi Delta, equal parts terrifying and exhilarating. The story's pacing is masterful, building tension and suspense with each chapter. However, the audiobook's production could have benefited from some sound effects or music to further immerse listeners in the story's eerie atmosphere. Despite this, 'The Trees' is a standout listen that demands your attention and leaves you questioning what's real and what's not.
