I've always been a fan of police procedurals, and The Unquiet Bones by Loreth Anne White has quickly become one of my new favorites. Narrator Carly Robins' performance is top-notch, with a rich, engaging voice that draws you into the story. Her portrayal of Detective Rose Fast Horse is spot-on, and the way she brings the supporting characters to life adds an extra layer of depth to the story. White's intricate plotting keeps you hooked, and the way she builds suspense throughout the audiobook is masterful. My only critique would be that the climax felt a bit rushed, and I would have liked to see more details regarding the resolution. Nonetheless, The Unquiet Bones is an engrossing listen that I highly recommend for fans of the mystery and thriller genres.
