I was thoroughly captivated by The Variant Saga, and Steve Barnes's narration was a significant contributor to its overall impact. As a seasoned editor, I appreciate the way Barnes expertly balances tone, pace, and emotion to create an immersive listening experience. My only minor quibble is that some supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, which doesn't detract from the overall narrative but does make it challenging to connect with them on a deeper level.
