Listening to 'The Venetian Judgment' is like being on a high-stakes cat-and-mouse chase through the narrow streets of Venice. Jason Culp's narration is exceptional, his ability to switch between accents and paces making each character distinct and engaging. He masterfully builds suspense, his voice dropping to a hushed whisper during tense moments, only to explode into urgency when the action heats up. Stone's plot is intricate and satisfying, with twists that genuinely surprise. However, some secondary characters could have used more development, as they sometimes feel like plot devices rather than fully realized individuals. Overall, though, this is a gripping listen that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
