As a fan of 'Artezans', I was thrilled to dive back into this world, and 'The Whispering World' did not disappoint. Angus King's narration is a standout feature, his ability to differentiate characters with unique voices and inflections making the story all the more engaging. The pacing is spot on, balancing action-packed scenes with moments of reflection and humor. Lapinski's world-building continues to impress, with intricate details and clever twists that keep you on the edge of your seat. My only critique is that the ending feels a tad rushed, leaving some plot threads unresolved. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise fantastic listen. If you're looking for a middle-grade fantasy adventure that's equal parts funny, exciting, and heartwarming, look no further.
