The Year I Didn't Eat

As someone who has been through their fair share of teenage struggles, I found 'The Year I Didn't Eat' to be an incredibly relatable and poignant coming-of-age story. Ashley Margolis' narration was absolutely spot-on, bringing a raw, unfiltered energy to the audiobook that perfectly captured the protagonist's voice. I particularly enjoyed the non-linear structure, which kept me engaged and eager to piece together the puzzle of the story. My only critique would be that at times, the audiobook felt a bit too intimate, making for challenging listening at times. However, this minor issue did not detract from the overall impact of the story.
