Thirst Trap

I was immediately drawn into the vibrant, if somewhat unhinged, world of Silveropolis. Nazri Noor's writing is clever and witty, with a keen eye for the absurd and the grotesque. As a horror fiction fan, I appreciate how Thirst Trap tackles the genre with a refreshing irreverence, often veering into darkly comedic territory that's both unsettling and hilarious. The vampire lore is intriguing, too, with a unique take on the traditional mythology. One area where the story falters slightly is in the supporting cast, which can feel somewhat one-dimensional at times. Some characters feel more like caricatures than fully fleshed-out people, which can make it challenging to become emotionally invested in their fates. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise engaging and unpredictable listen. Overall, I'd highly recommend Thirst Trap to fans of offbeat horror and LGBTQ+ fiction – just be prepared for a wild ride.
