Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I devoured This Much Is True in one sitting, and I couldn't wait to dive back into the world of the Liars' Club. Faye Adele's narration is phenomenal, bringing each character to life with her expressive voice and impeccable timing. Her portrayal of Althea's transformation from a jaded socialite to a confident, independent woman is nothing short of remarkable. I particularly appreciated Adele's handling of Jack's wit and banter, which added a delightful layer of humor to the story. While Lorret's writing is generally superb, I did find the supporting cast to be somewhat one-dimensional at times. The pacing also feels slightly rushed, especially in the climactic final act. However, these minor quibbles are easily forgotten when faced with the audiobook's many strengths. This Much Is True is a captivating, engaging listen that will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you eagerly anticipating the next installment in the Liars' Club series.
