As I settled in to listen to Trials by Sadie Moss, I was immediately captivated by Sarah Puckett's narration. Her ability to bring each character to life made me feel like I was right there in the Academy of Unpredictable Magic, witnessing the trials and tribulations of these magical beings firsthand. Puckett's voice is engaging and her pacing is perfect, making the 6h25m runtime fly by. One of my favorite aspects of the audiobook is the focus on the Unpredictables, who are often overlooked in the magical world. The story's exploration of their struggles and the challenges they face is both compelling and emotionally resonant. However, I did feel that the pacing could have been more evenly distributed at times, with certain sections feeling a bit rushed.
