Troubleman

Cary Hite's narration is the backbone of this audiobook. His voice is like a well-worn leather jacket - tough, weathered, and perfect for the story. He captures Toussaint's struggle and the city's grit with a visceral intensity that's hard to match. The pacing is breakneck, keeping you on the edge of your seat, and the production is clean, letting the story and narration shine. However, some of the supporting characters could have used more distinction in their voices. Also, the ending feels a tad rushed, leaving some threads unresolved. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise gripping listen. If you're a fan of urban thrillers that don't shy away from the harsh realities of the streets, 'Troubleman' is a must-listen.
