Unbonded

I was hooked from the first chapter. The raw, visceral pain of the unbonding is expertly conveyed, making it impossible not to empathize with the omega's plight. The pacing is excellent, balancing intense emotional scenes with lighter, humorous moments that provide much-needed respite. My only critique is that some secondary characters could have used more development. However, the stellar narration more than makes up for this. Rose and Day's chemistry is palpable, and their ability to convey the complex emotions of their characters is truly commendable. I found myself looking for excuses to keep listening, and when the audiobook ended, I was left craving more of this unique world and its compelling characters.
