As an avid audiobook listener, I was immediately drawn into the enchanting world of Unlocked by Casey L. Bond. Narrators Amy Melissa Bentley and Rudy Sanda expertly breathe life into the story, with their nuanced performances bringing out the depth and emotion of the characters. Bentley's portrayal of Raya's loneliness and despair, as well as her gradual blossoming connection with Trevor, is both heartwrenching and beautiful. Sanda's portrayal of Trevor's unexpected vulnerability and his fierce love for Raya is equally captivating. The pacing of the audiobook is well-suited to the story, with moments of intense action and emotion balanced by quieter, more introspective scenes. My only critique would be that at times, the distinction between the two narrators could be more apparent, particularly during scenes with dialogue between Raya and Trevor. Overall, Unlocked is a must-listen for fans of fantasy and romance alike.
