Eric Michael Summerer’s narration is both eerie and compelling, his voice echoing through the silence of the Upton Arms like a cold draft on an autumn night. The pacing is relentless, drawing you into the labyrinthine corridors of the house as if you were there yourself. Specific elements like the haunting mirror scenes and the gradual descent into madness are masterfully executed, pushing the boundaries of psychological horror. However, some sequences feel slightly disjointed, which occasionally breaks the otherwise immersive atmosphere. Still, it’s a mesmerizing listen that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
