Vampire Samurai, Lupus Patronus, Viking Vampire's Voyage, and Vampire of the Sea

As someone who enjoys a mix of mystery, thriller, and suspense, I was initially drawn to Vampire Samurai, Lupus Patronus, Viking Vampire's Voyage, and Vampire of the Sea by Vianka Van Bokkem. However, I found the collection's lack of cohesion and abrupt shifts between stories to be a significant drawback. While Ginny You's spirited narration kept me engaged, the disjointed nature of the stories left me feeling unsatisfied. The author's creativity in blending vampire legends with Eastern influences like samurai and werewolves is intriguing, but the execution could have been more polished. I would have liked to see the connections between the stories more clearly drawn out, as they often felt like separate entities rather than a cohesive whole. Despite the interesting concept, this audiobook did not fully deliver on its potential.
