Vengeance

I was immediately drawn into Vengeance's high-stakes world, where the fate of humanity rests on the shoulders of a single, flawed hero. Baldree's narration is a significant part of what makes this audiobook so compelling. He masterfully captures Gus' voice, balancing his vulnerability with a steely determination that had me rooting for him every step of the way. The pacing is tight, keeping the tension high, even during quieter moments of reflection. My only critique is that some of the world-building could have been a bit more fleshed out, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen. If you're looking for a YA sci-fi that's as smart as it is thrilling, Vengeance is a must-listen.
